How would you describe your role on the Callier and Thompson team?

Detailed and methodical. Hope to catch anything that would help save money for the company.

 

What are a few of your favorite things?

Watching gray movies…aka black and white, Going to the movie theater. Visits with my kids, (since they are all grown), walk/running, sand volleyball, volunteering at my friends greenhouse business and bunko with the ladies in Dardeene Prairie.

 

Share with us one unusual thing many people may not know about you?

Like to make upholstery tapestry hangings. Would love to learn how to do stain glass.

 

What is one piece of advice or statement you want to make about the kitchen and bath industry (or remodeling)?

Doing the remodel quickly doesn’t mean it is being done at its best. It’s not the timing as much as it is the planning. Be prepared for the quality. There is more to it than you know.

 

What do you like most about working for Callier and Thompson Kitchens, Baths, Appliances?

They really care about customer satisfaction. Very family friendly.

 

Where did you grow up?

Hickam Air Force Base in Oahu Hawaii & Warrensburg Mo. By Whiteman Air Force Base. (I’m a military brat) other place to but for not very long.

 

What motivates you to work hard day in and day out?

To see something old and dated turn into something GREAT!!!!!

 

What makes you laugh most?

Dry Humor. My two girls are hilarious!

 

Do you have family or pets?

Yes on Family, Not anymore on pets ;(

 

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Roller Coaster Ride shortly after neck surgery... had a disc replaced. I was living on the edge… yes!

 

What is your favorite kitchen appliance and why?

Dishwasher and Refrigerator Drawers… I think they are so much more efficient and space saving.

 

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Insert sarcasm here… ;P

 

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

Drink hot tea and what Chinese/Korean love stories….subtitles are a necessity. They are very well written.

 

What is your favorite game or sport to watch and/or play?

Watch (Archery) Play Frisbee!!

 

What’s your favorite tradition or holiday and why?

4^th of July (fireworks baby)

 

What is your favorite thing to do in St Louis?

Go to the Arch, love his work Eero Saarinen

 

How long have your been in the kitchen and bath industry?

Since Sept, 21^st 1987.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

My grandpa Virgil, “Don’t wish your time away”

 

If you have to sing Karaoke, what song do you pick?

Little Wings by Stevie Ray Vaughan…..NO LYRICS…HA, HA!!!!

 

If you were a professional baseball player, what song would you choose for your “walk up song”?

Metallica, “For Whom the Bell Tolls” James Hetfield has to be singing it too!!!

 

If you had to teach a class on one thing, what would you teach?  

Shop class!
