Design and Thoughts
The kitchen was very small/closed off and storage was limited. The client wanted to open up the floor plan and update the finishes. The end result is simple, with classic lines and a subtly elegant feel.
Materials Used
Shiloh Cabinetry - Maple in Repose Grey, and Alder in Espresso
MMG; ASMI Quartz Countertops in Moonflakes
Flooring - Stanton LVT, Series – Woodlands, Color – Toasted Oak; Fire Place Hearth: Atlas Concorde, Series – Boost, Color - Tarmac
Backsplash - Tile on Kitchen “L”; 4” Moonflakes splash at stairwell & dining
Special Features
The removal of the shared walls between the kitchen and dining room as well as making the stairwell open with short walls completely transformed the space.
All new flooring and baseboards gives the 1957 ranch house a more modern feel and open entertaining space.
