Classically Modern Warmth

Classically modern warmth (2)

Design and Thoughts

The kitchen welcomes you in … we re-used the flooring and coordinated the new finishes to highlight it and bring out warmth through the Walnut wood and warm toned quartz countertops.

The homeowners were looking for more organization and clean, uncluttered countertops.  Everything has a place and is in its place!  There are a lot of internal organizational accessories and additional storage created from taller wall cabinets, a refrigerator enclosure and attached liquor cabinet.  The outdated desk area and drywall walk-in pantry was removed and replaced with a pantry featuring roll-out trays and a “drop zone” for the daily mail, keys, personal items etc.  There are hidden mail slots behind the doors above the countertop.

Materials Used

Custom Wood Products Cabinets in Walnut with a Copper finish

Caesarstone Taj Royale Quartz Countertops

Florida Tile backsplash - American Olean, His Limestone Legacy Blend, and Landmark Hex Mosaic

Other special features: Shallow refrigerator liquor cabinet, lazy susan, spice drawer insert, silverware dividers (2), knife block insert, sink tilt-out, pigeon hole behind doors (mail organizer) and tray dividers.  Upgraded Legrand Adorne receptacles/plate covers.

Special Features

The classically warm tones of the wood cabinetry are absolutely beautiful.  The dining room fixture coordinates with the brushed nickel hardware, stainless steel appliances and backsplash accents to provide a striking palette.  Overall, it is a well-thought out and attractive addition to the home.
