Design and Thoughts

The original kitchen in this 1920’s home was small and cramped. We expanded the kitchen 9’ to match the width of the rest of the house forward. In doing so, we moved the stairs to the basement, reworked the powder room/rear foyer entry to give privacy for the powder room and installed a new rear exterior door with transom that is just stunning. The rear foyer got a new stained wood ceiling to match the covered porch ceiling that was added upstairs. The new overall feel is one of timeless beauty and elegance.
