Design and Thoughts

The updated rustic feel of this kitchen combines rustic textures in the hardwood flooring, stained island, breakfast counter, hood and floating shelves with sleek white flat panel styling in the perimeter cabinetry. The beaded inset and black accents add a comfortable sophistication. The overall effect is one of simple, elegant warmth and coziness.

Materials Used

Cabinets - Shiloh in Maple around the perimeter painted in Polar, and oak for the island and accents painted in Creekside.

Countertops - Cambria – Skara Brae/island and Camrbia – Devon/perimeter

Flooring - Hickory ¾” solid hardwood

Backsplash - Field tile, WOW/Crafted Grey gloss with Range Accent, Walker Zanger/Sterling Row/Wingtip Linen

Appliances - Kitchenaid
