The constant change and innovation
What inspired you to pursue a career in kitchen and bath remodeling?
I just fell into it. I was looking for something other than sales and had some history in warehousing.
What are a few of your favorite things?
Rory, Emmitt, and Charlie. My Grandkids.
Do you have family or pets?
I’m married with two married daughters and three grandchildren. The wife and I have a beagle named Jake.
What do you do for fun in your spare time?
I volunteer, currently with the MO department of conservation teaching kids about fishing. I’m also a woodworker and a birder.
What’s your favorite tradition or holiday and why?
Thanksgiving, love and the big family.
What is your favorite thing to do in St. Louis?
The zoo, it’s always my go to when friends and family are in town.
How long have you been in the kitchen and bath industry?
Over 20 years.
What’s one interesting fact about kitchen and bath remodeling that most people might not know?
Time lines are important but the smallest thing and get it off track. Patience with the process is critical.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job, and why does it matter to you?
The people here help make this work rewarding. We are all different with our own ways of doing things, but we somehow manage to come together and get the job done.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
It was over 40 years ago, “You need to marry that girl.” We have been for 40 years.

If I could sing it would be the Eagles “Hotel California”
