Color

Tile

Subway tile continues to be popular, and now nontraditional colors, textures, and sizes take center stage.  Large-format tiles in stone, porcelain, and ceramic create a more seamless look as well as the illusion of a larger space.  Having fewer grout lines means easier cleaning and maintenance.

Quartz

In potentially damp environments like the bathroom, quartz leads the pack for several reasons. Being non-porous, this man-made stone is available in many colors and can mimic the beautiful veining of your natural stones like marble and granite.

Tech

Innovative technology has weaved its way into nearly every room in our homes. If you thought demisting mirrors were genius (and they are!), consider incorporating a smart shower that allows you to store spray and volume settings for each person in the family. Perhaps a smart toilet with a self-closing lid, hands-free flushing, and bacteria-killing lights under the lid. Keep in mind that warm-floors add a spa-like touch that your toes will thank you for.
