St. Louis Kitchen Remodel – Before & After
The team here at Callier & Thompson had a wonderful time bringing this St. Louis kitchen into the 21st century. The layout was functional and working for the homeowners, but the finishes were in need of a refresh. We didn’t change the footprint of this kitchen but updated the surfaces with cleaner, more modern finishesā€”creating a sleek and gorgeous space that the homeowners are proud of.
Before our designer Christine worked her magic on this kitchen, the wallpaper border, cabinetry, overhead lighting, and soffits were keeping this kitchen in decades past.
Christine brought this kitchen back to the future with modern, neutral and clean finishes like white subway tile installed in a herringbone pattern, shaker cabinets in a dark wood finish, pearly granite countertops and lovely porcelain floor tiles. The stainless steel hood and contemporary pendant lights tie everything together with modern sophistication.
With taller cabinets, more drawers and storage beneath the peninsula, the storage and functionality increased without adding to the footprint of the kitchen.
